   "ANTECH – TFA" is a manufacture and supplier of rock bolts for underground mines and tunnel constructions. Along with the basic product of frictional pipe anchor TFA, the firm supplies expansion shell rock bolts and rock dowels KPV for bolting the monorails and other supplementary devices and mine accessories to the rock walls.
  The firm also offers consultations about the rock support and rock bolting design.

FRICTIONAL ROCK ANCHOR TFA
Use and concept:
The frictional pipe anchors TFA are used for stabilization of rock masses surrounding the underground mine openings and tunnels . They are applied at a wide spectrum of unstable rocks with different strength properties, either as an independent support or in a combination with other kinds of mine support and lining.
The TFA is a thin-walled  pipe body with an elliptical cross section . The front part is a conical shape and is used for driving the rock bolt into the  hole. The back part ends with a round ring made of the same pipe and is used for supporting the bearing plate
The frictional pipe anchor TFA is installed in a preliminary drilled hole in the rock with the diameter smaller than the major axes of the ellipses.

    Installation:
  •  Drill a hole 2 – 4 mm smaller in a diameter than the major axes of TFA to be installed;
  • The hole length should be 50 mm larger than the anchor length;
  • Place the bearing plate over the conical end of TFA;
  • Place the conical end of the TFA into the collar of the drill hole ;
  • Place the adapter into the ring end of the TFA ;
  • Start the drill and drive the TFA home until the bearing plate is hard up against the rock face.
     Advantages and characteristic:
  •  strength contact with the rock along the whole length of the anchor hole
  •  high coefficient of rock strengthening
  •  bearing capacity increases with the development of strain processes in the strata
  •  an opportunity for bearing capacity regulation depending on anchor hole diameter and anchor length
  •  provides a self-regulating yieldability by slipping, maintaining the high supporting capacity, which enables the compound  work of TFA with different kinds of framed  roof support
  •  easy installation  by the use of the available drilling machines with impact action or all rockbolting machines, than exert impact or pressure action
  •  high longitudinal stability during installation, which enables the application of anchors of higher length
  •  a reliable ring made of the same pipe for supporting of the plate
  •  an opportunity for additional injecting of cement-sandy mixture or synthetic resins in and around the anchor.
